Is it wrong?

Postby Sylv » Tue Jul 14, 2009 10:58 am

To be glad that it is raining today, when you were (again) not going to be able to race at Crystal Palace, so at least you don't feel as you'll be missing out if they call if off?

To feel smirky this morning when a commuter on a fixie, just as he was about to fly through a red light, somehow managed to lock his front wheel in a pothole and was sent flying over the bars? (he did get up looking unhurt)

Any other cycling-related naughty thoughts?

That's a good one

The other day, car stopped in advanced box at lights, gave the young occupants a big smile, then as the driver completely killed the gearbox missing his second gear, I waved them a smile going past :)

so, kinda like

feeling smug and superior as you glide effortlessly past the cyclists who broke the red light whilst you patiently waited for the green light?

The opposite feeling:

After having commuted to work recently a few times on my MTB with front suspension and 2.5 inch knobbly tyres I have much more respect for those commuters who do it daily at a fair pace.

yes, I have! I built it up over the spring, but it's nice and shiny and clean and the weekends have been wet and muddy! One problem is Aodan's rides begin too early and yours go on too long!
