Following a question for Doug and in case anyone wants to describe ACC for an intranet or other purposes I wrote something here some time ago. If it needs updating do let me know.

I have sent this off to be updated. the website will be live in a week or so and we can redirect thim that way for all the info
......................

Addiscombe Cycling Club is South London based and offers a great cycling experience to riders of all standards. We have a reputation as a friendly club which looks after the interests of all riders whatever their ability.

From NOVICES to RACERS, we offer rides to suit everyone, each overseen by an experienced group leader who will show you the way at your own pace. So why not CONTACT US or JOIN US FOR A SATURDAY MORNING RIDE and discover why more people are joining Addiscombe CC than any other UK cycling club.

Check out our website for more club information

http://www.addiscombe.org/

The Saturday morning club run is when the whole club gets together for a ride. We meet at 9.00am at Coulsdon South British Rail Station for a ride to our club cafe in the sleepy Surrey village of Charlwood, just outside Gatwick.

There’ll be as many as 120 riders out on any given Saturday but don’t worry, with that many riders there’ll be a group going at just the right speed for you, whatever your ability. So if you want a full-on training ride or just a gentle potter round the country lanes, just click on our website or send us a mail to introduce yourself to the Vice Captains or just pop along on the day and we will look after you.

After tea and cakes in Charlwood you’re free to ride back with any group you choose via a number of different routes.

So we hope to see you on a Saturday soon.
