If I can get out of the house in time, I'll be there.

As sean says...a crackin day in the saddle. Brighton and Back via Ashdown forest. Before we left, I kinda felt that we might be pushing it a bit by heading over ashdown forest but the route was really good. I love climbing up to the top of ashdown forest as the views at the top are amazing. Anyhow, once we left there we headed through some really beautiful lanes towards lewes. The lanes were luckily quite sheltered from what was quite a tricky crosswind.

Anyhow, once we had negociated the road from lewes to the bottom of the beacon and climbed over the hill it was plain sailing into brighton.

The route back was aided by a south westerly wind which helped us along. At one point we were cruising at 30 mph just spinning the gears on the flat...cool...

I gotta say that sean has come on in leaps and bounds. Once we got onto the club run route, he was ticking out 20 - 25 miles per hour on the front with no issues.....keep it up sean...

I felt quite good on this ride. I ate quite regularly, drank loads and span the gears all day.

Good stuff...thanks to all.....can't wait for the next adventure...
