CR 18 July 09

What can I say?

Smiley John strikes again.

Well that was a 15's out of this world, managed to talk my mates son Matt to coming out with the ACC on his MTB for his first CR. Very suprised by his stamina.

So John C and I decided to 'pretend' to get lost on the CR and add Crawley into the mix, don't worry John I don't think anybody noticed

Matt done so well, even tagging on into the odd sprint just before we got home, that boy is set to go straight into a training group if he gets on a road bike. You could hear those big fat off-road tyres a mile off!

That ride can only be described as Very AGREEABLE, great weather and great company.

Still got the ringing in my ears from Bob's amazing exploding rear tyre

And well done Dankie, getting stronger with every ride.

Happy days MM :D

Had a fantastic ride with you lot on Saturday. Thanks chaps.

Really enjoyed myself even though we took wrong turnings you had to wait for me up the climbs.

Time trailing tomorrow and should be out again this Saturday. John is an ace Captain and I enjoyed the peloton training.

Cracking ride with the 15's on Saturday.

Only my second club run (with a 3 month gap in between!) All the extra training has been paying off though. Last time, I was on my @ss and dropped off the back for most of it and this time it was no hassle and put the hammer down all the way home.

Good to meet Alboy and everyone else. John did a cracking job as leader!

Looking forward to getting back out there.....

Thanks chaps & chappette.

As we're in the mood for commendations, can I just say how silky the T&O was with the 19's this Sat. Probably the smoothest I've ever ridden among. Kudos to all involved, you know who you are 8)

Nuff said. P

You cant have been in the first 19's T&O group then - absolute carnage with riders out the back within minutes of setting off and pace didnt ease up much all the way to the cafe

[quote="marco"] I couldnt believe how fast Marky's friend was on his mtb. If he wants to get involved in biking or racing he will go very far indeed.

MTB Matt was a hero! Kept a pretty fast pace up and was always there on the hills. Never moaned once. Top man!
