A certain importer was seen at Excel races last year - spaced like this:

M A V 1 C

I have a picture of it as well. Would you like to see it Ian?

On my home last night I saw a Belgian registration plate TED 001. What's Eddy Merckx doing driving through Dulwich?

When I was heading out to swimming at Kingswood at the time I was passing through Purley I kept seeing an Aston Martin where the first part of the personalised number was ACC, didn't recognise the driver though. Probably Andrew Clive Carruthers who doesn't realise the association his car has in that area.

M155 ACC is available for one of the girls.
ACC 944A is available if anyone's got an old Porsche to put it on.

A look at the phenomenon of personalised number plates, featuring those who spend thousands to own the right combination of numbers and letters. Among them are several people called Nigel who crave the same number plate, N1GEL.

Dear Agreeables,

Personalised plates? Waste of money. For £33 you can change your name by deed poll.

Yours sincerely
