Well done Rob, thoroughly deserved I'd say :D

Oh but what a night eh  , it rained just a little bit and we got a tad drenched.

I was put in the scratch group too, by Mr PVT, and found the first few laps pretty tough going. I had to miss a few turns to come through or I wouldn't have lasted very long. I'm glad it was a flat circuit, if it had been one of the hillier ones I'd have been out the back door quite sharpish. As it was, I hung in, did my turn when I cld (probably 60% of the time?), and seemed to get stronger as the race went on, especially after catching the group in front (more recovery time :D ). Toward the end we knew we were'nt going to catch the front group but pushed on regardless. The last lap was quite enjoyable, Marcus jumped off the front, Keith chased after him, we chased after him and had a good sprint to the line.

Is that a new bike that I spy under Mr Wright. Were they re-spraying the white lines on the road on Thursday night and Keith forgot to move his feet out the way?

 The over socks are hiding an even brighter  8) pair of new shoes. I wasn't going to let a bit of rain (well, actually it was more than a bit  ) stop me from wearing them.

I tried them on in yellow, but I just couldn't bring myself to buy them. White's bad enough, but yellow shoes?
