I will be meeting Connor at 8 at East Croydon to ride together to HH - others are welcome to join us.

I have been an Addiscombe club member since about May. Enjoy the club runs ' n stuff and just getting into this forum thingy...

I have registered for this ride as well.. Never been to the velodrome before but I am about 4 miles from East Croydon station so I was going to head there for 8 am and hopefully tag along with you guys meeting there... Hope the weather holds up for the club run and Sunday

Great to see there will be a bunch of ACC's out for this ride, as Dave L said it's a grand ride. Riden it 3 times, in all weathers! Its all quite relaxed, just need to sign on, one lap round the track to start and finish, just like Paris-Roubaix. The route is always been well signed with a feed stop, and a good pasta lunch with a few glasses of vino at the end, what more can you ask for!
Hopefully Paul and Robbie will be joining us also.

Tomorrow looks set to be fine but a bit nippy! Jo and I will be in the area about 8-45 to sign on etc. Hopefully I will be a bit more lively than I was on the clubrun!

Areally great day out was had by all ( i think). There must have been at least 14 or more riders out, looking great in the sunshine with our resplendent yellow tops on!
A mornings entertainment (ride), lunch , and a glass of, all for about £12.

Many thanks to Alan M for flagging up the ride and geting the interest going.

Great organisation and signposting made navigation easy, some nice hill suprises!!!! and some really scenic views. Superb.

But for the Land Rover rally, ill-coordinated comfort breaks, a stiff headwind at times, Alan's tumble on the pave, my own (lack of) fitness and just being too busy enjoying the ride, I'm sure we could have knocked 28 minutes off our time and got gold 'medals'. Still, there's always next year....

Must have been a good day out given the weather we had yesterday.

It was even nicer just relaxing doing not much in the sunshine ! I was going to do the ride, but my legs (and more specifically my knee) kind of said "Give us a break!"
Well, I had ridden myself ragged over the summer, so decided to listen to my body, hang up my bike, and rest up instead.

I'll be up for doing any similar rides as part of the winter miles, though.

Great ride, weather and company. Have finally downloaded my hac4 info and says we did 65 miles for the long route - did we miss a bit somewhere? ride time for that distance was 4:05:33. Our offical time was 4 hours and 27 minutes, 7 minutes slower than I did last year - must be age affecting me! totlal climbing of 1268 meters and average speed of 25.8 kph. looking at my old 2003 ROFLs graph seems there was a climb near the start/end (just after CP on the way out) that either we missed or was cut out from the ride this year - explains the missing miles. Well, still great day.
