Fun in the 15s - 22 Aug 09

Lovely agreeable morning on the bike. Two new faces at CSS: Tom on his shiny new Trek and new clipless pedals (concentrate now!) and Mary on a shiny hybrid....carrying a large rucksack! V agreeable ride to the caff after which Tom went off with some speedier new friends whilst John Cz, Trevor, Graham and I rode back with Mary (what was in that rucksack?). Great riding from the pair of them, slotting smoothly into the group and getting the hang of pointing out obstacles etc. Hope to see them back soon.

I reckon Trevor must've been putting the power down today 'cos he snapped his rear mech hangar and everything got wrapped around the cassette and spokes. Managed to remove all damaged parts and fettle him up as a s/s to limp home...hope you made it OK Trev!
