That is a fantastic deal. I've got the EA90 SLX which are aluminium clinchers and they are great wheels. Just buy them. You'll appreciate the quality long after you've forgotten the price. These ones are for tubs though.
Jon had been very quiet, I think he's done the deed now, and after a slighly feverish phase just after pressing the "complete order" button, looking around him in the office hoping he was not sweating or looking too red (I know how it feels) he is now awaiting impatiently a parcel from mr wiggle, hopefully before the long weekend, so that he can have a play with the wheels at the weekend.
Im like that with the misses, whenever I order something I have to do it in secret else I just go red and deny doing anything....then I tell her later there maybe a parcel arriving in the next couple of days and can she make sure she's in to sign for it
Nope, not bought the wheels as I couldn't justify having a pair like that just for the weight weenie and bling factor. If I was road racer though it would be another matter.
However, I did get this bargain: Reduced from a RRP of £500+ down to £149 at Chainreaction
flippin' heck! and they've got loads of cranksets at -80%
if the wheels were clinchers at that weight (1250gm it seems) it would be an easy choice but i have aero tubular wheels at 1550gm already if i were to buy lightweight climbing wheels they would have to be around the 1000gm mark to make it worth it (and I won't cos i know how much they cost)

I wondered if you'd be tempted what with having a Shimano set up.

Sure have, just pimped my ride and gone and spent a few quid on some flashy bits...new crankset, handlebars and seat post. Spent 200 quid but saved over 350....couldn't resist.
Remarkably similar to women's logic
Look at these new shoes; they we're reduced from £80 to £40, so with the money I saved I bought this dress too
I learnt everything I know from my misses after spending many an unhappy hour trawling round the fashion boutiques looking for that perfect dress in the sale only to spend the money she saved on yet more shoes because none she has will suit said new dress......she only has herself to blame for my money spending.
