Halloween, a night cyclo-cross race, a beer tent.

What can I say, it just appealed to me 8) . I won't be alone in ACC colours either so come and have a beer and laugh at myself and others try and race cyclo-cross in the dark. Well the others might race, but if as intended the course goes through the beer tent I may get distracted. :P

Ha, I think my name might remain in grey, it's just one week before the ballbuster and I don't trust myself to stay off the beer
For once it might be me heckling you Andrew!

17:00 to 10:00. That's a looong Cross race. 17 hours by my maths!

Yeah they got a bit confused with the 24 hour clock didn't they  . I gather it's nippers at about dusk (5pm-ish) through to the seniors when it's proper dark, standard 1 hour cross race. Quite a few fast guys on the list including 2 guest riders from Holland where this thing is apparantly considered quite normal.

I fully expect to be stumbling about in the dark at the back of the field on my MTB, and the steep hill behind the track should be fun at night. Any "refreshment" passed up as I pass through the tent gratefully received.

Just remember that it'll all come back your way the following week Sylv as you bound up Box Hill for the upteenth time
