Aww bless him what a complete KNOB!
It must be really exciting showing a group of cyclists how fast your car can go.

He has offered his "sincere" apologies :?

The cyclists affected should get in touch with CTC Legal (as CTC suggest) and take it up...or even the Police..

How often does this happen on the CR..grrrrrrr

I didn't know what craven meant, so I looked it up:

Lacking the least bit of courage, contemptibly faint-hearted.

I like it, good word Adrian, but to reference Toks' earlier comment, the definition is missing the word knobhead

I wonder whether JM's implication was a simile i.e. we all look as though we are wearing Spiderman costumes (spandax figure hugging) - personally I would prefer Superman but the cape might get tangled in the chain. :D

No you can't, as it's been edited to remove the bit about running the cyclists into the hedge (which was however probably made up)

"Daily Mail prints ludicrous article abusing a minority group."

In other news:

"Public convenience to close. No bears affected"

"Pope not Protestant after all."

His apology 'only' on BBC website? (Pretty wide circulation there). To me, it reads like the complete and frightened climbdown facesaving attempt of someone who knows he's been a complete and utter t*sser.
