Wiggins has just done a Millar!

What, winning the world TT then getting stripped of the title after owning up to doping?

Cue Marco...

Not quite.

Let's just say I wouldn't want to be at the British dinner table tonight.

I imagine most of the back room staff for Team Sky will come from BC, would Wiggins want second rate mechanics?

Stunning TT by Cancellara, he is such a phenomenal tester. Shame Wiggins ride went tits up towards the end as he was holding speed when others close by were dropping off, think he'd have got 3rd from Martin by about 5-10 seconds.

Funny little GPS tracking thingy that shows the TT based on if they'd all started at the same time. More than a tad geeky, but does show just how much Cancellara was taking the p out of everyone else - just rides away from the big blue mass of riders.

Nice one Andrew! I couldn't help noticing Cance's high-revving style - is that usual for him, or could that be he adapted his pedalling in order to try and do as little damage as possible to his muscles for Sunday?

I'd guess that to average over 32mph you have to move your legs around a bit quickly

Going purely from memory (always on dodgy ground with that) he does seem to have speeded his cadence up in TTs over the last couple of years, he's also thinned down a bit so the two could be combined.

It's like what Brad's done in keeping the power but losing the weight so improving his power to weight ratio and climbing better. I don't think Cancellara is turning smaller gears just turning the pedals quicker.

Using the same gears as Wiggins, Larsson etc (not Grabsch) but spin 'em quicker to thrash the pants off them.

I don't think he turns lower gears so much in a road race as he still powers over the cobbles.
