Good ride this morning with Kieran, Grahame and Gavin.

None of us brought a map so we had to wing it a bit in the middle bit near Hever, where we also got caught up with the bike leg of the Hever triathlon. Gavin said his goodbyes just before Toy's Hill to make his own way home, then the three of us rode together all the way back to West Wickham. Well, when I say we rode together I mean Grahame and I watched Kieran disappear up the road on all the hills; he was super stong on the hills today.

Same again next week with a bigger group.

Not sure how far we got round the circuit but it is not as hilly as I thought.

Very tired this afternoon was surprised how fast we were going to be honest!

Cheers Chaps...Really enjoyed that.

Its a sign of a good ride when my legs give up just as I get home to west wickham. I think we were crackig out quite a good pace for most of the ride. Particularly enjoyed the long rolling roads once we got past the M25....

hi guys, thanks for the company. A good ride in great weather. Like Graham, my legs went just before home on Crystal Palace hill, where an older woman cyclist passed me (granted she was on a proper racing bike with all the gear). In total, door to door it took me 4 hours 12 minutes. Given the time lost wondering over directions and the stop in Westerham, a sub 4 hour is just possible next week but it would mean no rest until the end and keeping the pace high.

OH, to just say road conditions were fine, just the usual gravel etc nothing too scarey. There are road works just before the left turn into Elmer's end roundabout as you come down from Crystal Palace, not very extensive but the lights stay red for a while.
