World Championship Profanity

Postby TimNick » Sun Sep 27, 2009 5:13 pm

Just finished watching the World Champs RR and crackin' end....no not Cadel winning it but Harmon's quality 'JT that's b*llocks' to finish the broadcast....it's great to hear a commentator on Eurosport venting anger at the director's (I guess) decision to leave the coverage beforethe podiums/national anthems etc (get that Superbike filler peice in...oh yeah!). Great race (well not for GB) and thank god no win for Vino or Valverde!

Yes he was a naughty boy, obviously didn't know the mike was still open

Good race in the end, shame we had to sit through 4 hours of dull dull cycling before it kicked off.

Yes I know what you mean. Well done Cadel for a good win. Just shows what a good team can do!!! What the hell were the Spanish doing?

Siesta?

and yes, a good win, wouldn't have backed him for a win let alone from an attacking move.

You should've watched the 7 hour coverage on BBC. Had to have a nap half way through. It was harder than yesterdays club run.

By the way, thanks to Ant, Rob, Paul and Rich (in that order) for towing me round yesterday.

I was channel hopping between the cycling and the grand prix inbetween cleaning the windows. The window cleaning just inched out the grand prix in the excitement stakes with the cycling coming in a distant 3rd.

Was a good ride yesterday, I needed a bit of a workout and it did the trick. Everyone rode well, its good to go a bit harder than your comfortable with from time to time. I did say to Rob before we set off that it might be a bit quick as I was feeling pretty good despite having a tooth out on friday :?
