Close but no cigar...

Up to the E2 course with the goal of 22:21 or less to take the club 10 mile trophy. For once it was a pretty calm day; just a very slight head wind on the way out. Finished in 22:34 which is a season's best by 5 seconds, but not good enough to nab the silverware away from Steve D.

Depends how far you're prepared to travel. There's an event on the Levens course on 17th Oct (listed as 10th Oct in the handbook). That's the course in Cumbria where Rich V did his 19 and Wiggins did a 17 to break the competition record.
