Hi guys, just an observaton. Before I start I think the roation thing is very good and should not change. However I would ask that we all be a bit more considerate with 'rotation at the front' requests. Why? well some people may have moved up a group (e.g.17s to 19s) and are just managing to handle the increased pace. All it then takes is a few obligatory rotations at the front and the next surge on a draggy sections leaves the latest 'group newbie' off the back. This as you can imagine is a bit demoralising. For the third time in two weeks someone mentioned to me that they were dropped only (they felt) because they had to continually take a turn on the front.
Here's my advice to anyone thats moved up a group. Don't feel that you have to take a turn on the front especially if you don't feel fit enough to do some 'wind catching'. Simply let the people in your group know that you'll be 'sitting in' and let a stronger person replace you in the rotation line. Once of course you feel fairly comfortable with the groups pace then its only fair to other (plus it makes you fitter) to share the work load. Cheers Toks
