Poor Cadel, he'll never be cool. :( He couldn't even compose himself at the end and sit up no handed as he crossed the line. Tatiana Guderzo who won the women's race on the other hand was pretty cool. And what was all that extended kissing his neckless nonsense about. He's a good rider no question, but can we ever really love him?

Poor cinderella he was definitely the strongest, but got no help at all, Cadel wasn't in the strongest team either (granted Australia had 9 riders?) but played his cards right and deserved the win.

I read in the Swiss tabloids that Cancellara got some tissue from his jersey stuck between his teeth in the early stages of the race because he was trying to tear it off his chest - is this true ???

From what I saw, Cancellara just went too early....maybe he should have waited a little.....perhaps tactics is his weakness..

[quote]For concerns known early in the race with a piece of fabric stuck between two teeth want to rip his undershirt and then to break this chain untimely occurred in a 16th round of the dangers.

Don't know what you mean?

[quote]In a lucid yet impressive, the citizen Ittigen explains the reasons of his starts. "I did everything right. And he does it is not necessary for much success for this doubled. Now I know I have the capacity to achieve it. In the end, I was one of the strongest. I thus decided to follow only the rear wheel of my main opponents. The legs were there. And I still wanted to tighten the race in accelerating the pace. Unfortunately, this was not enough.
Its probably just mean, theres actually no problem here.
