In my van or on a specially elongated and adapted cycle roof rack as Keith and Tamar have built up, may be a bit wide on the rear boot cyle holder (WIDE LOAD)

right... will have to fabricate something for the roof rack.

St John Street Cycles are a fountain of knowledge, I've found - although I've yet to quiz them on tandems. They will probably sell you one of these though...
