Last race of the season for me, and last chance to get under the hour for a 25.

Picked up Rob R-E and an hour later arrived at the HQ in Marlow, closely followed into the car-park by Chris & Lisa Scarlett. Chris was starting 3 minutes ahead of Rob, and Lisa was starting 7 ahead of me, so Rob & I both had a target to catch - Scarlett fever!

Started off and was soon into top gear down the hill at the start, topping out at 41mph. Got held up slightly in a couple of places, first of all I had to brake at one of the roundabouts, then secondly shortly before I caught Lisa at around 20 miles a car overtook me but then had to wait to get past her, so I had to slow down for about 50m. As I approached the finish I couple see the clock ticking past 59 minutes then past the hour. Finished in 1:00:04 which is a season's best so I'm pleased, but it would have been nice to be 5 seconds quicker.

Rob did 1:02:14 after taking a wrong sliproad off the dual carriageway but quickly realising his mistake and getting back on course by going over the roundabout and straight down the sliproad again.

Chris & Lisa did 1:01:01 and 1:09:09 respectively.
