Didn't know him but his name usually appeared at the top end of most race results and I think he won one of the National TT titles recently.

Yeah, forgot about that. Thought he came over really well in that.

Obviously a very talented cyclist whose name was always at the top end of the racing result columns. Gosh! It such a brutal reminder of how so vulnerable we cyclists are on the road. May he rest in Peace

Again didn`t know Zak, but with his 2-up partner won the Redmon 2up on Sunday.

Don`t know any details regarding the accident-but what a waste of a life.

Thoughts go to his wife and family.

RIP

How sad, a brilliant trialist. I think he broke the 12hr tandem record recently with Sean Yates as stoker.

From Roy Green - Author: 100 years of the Road Records Association

"Absolutely terrible. I have just received an RRA schedule letter asking me
if I could marshal in an attempt by Zak and James Millard on the RRA Tandem 25 mile record on the Portsmouth Road.

I met Zak at the Crescent (Wheelers CC) 25 and he was a nice, happy-go-lucky guy".
