Shame to lose the finishing steep drop but I think it'll be better being longer and twistier. It's a great fast pedaling duck and dive number, which my memory seems to have Summer Lightening as too. Haven't done that trail for donkey's ages, howzabout next time we meet at the Westcott car park and climb up from t'other side and drop in to Peaslake for tea and goodies as a half time pitstop?

Edit: either Sunday 6th or 13th December? Meet in Westcott car park at 10am? Any takers?

There's a couple of trailbreak mtb events on Dec 6th in Leith Hill area that look good. One's a straightforward marked ride wtih varying lengths...the other is a 'navigator' where you have a time limit in which to visit as many marked locations as possible, with different points available for different locations. Sounds like a laugh.

And then we can do Westcott car park on 13th.

Checking my diary I'm doing a cross race at Herne Hill on the 5th so would want a road ride on the 6th anyway. Looks like 13th's favourite then  .
