Agree with Jon.

As a motorist as well as cyclist I can say that our kit is very noticeable with the preponderance of yellow. Only Adam's orange kit is more visible.
Also it is not an obvious mess of adverts like a lot of club kit. If we carry adverts then, as somebody else has said, we should be paid for it and the kit sold at a discount. Paying forty quid for a billboard is a bit toppy, and why I got all (sorry, both :) )my cycling shirts from the bargain bins at BikePlus or GBs.

people here obviously have no taste

Maybe we should use fluorescent yellow in our clothes items ? or real shiny gold material. Personally I buy my cycling tops because either they are cheap and/or I like them, not because of safety reasons, I have a nice fluorescent gillet for dim days that I will wear over my tops and can remove easily when not needed.

how about (modified from the 3-feet -please jersey):

That's a nice design, Kieran, and it has the trademark black collar. I'm not a massive fan of "high viz" flouresecent yellow as it is so commonplace now as to be almost unnoticeable, roadworkers, coppers, traffice wardens etc all are cocooned in its imaginary safety. Visually I think they get "tuned out".
Bright yellow like ours is much more noticeable and a natural colour to boot - viz daffs, buttercups, fields of rape etc.

Better effort, Kieran - though the stripey bits look a little too much like the tape the police use to seal off an 'incident'. Wouldn't plain black be better than the stripes? Well done, though.

The stipes were to copy the road markings at dangerous bends etc. like at:

Just to say that I actually like the current design anyway.

Not bad Kieran. I like the colour of the jersey but don't like the big yellow ACC badge pasted on the front. Keep'em coming :D

The hazard stripes and the arrows might not look very slimming. Probably not a concern for you lot, but for me ...

The first one is great, a modern copy of the old Z team tops. In years to come if we get that one then people will be buying them on ebay for a fortune. Lets go for the Zappy white one awesome.

Cheers

I really like the kit. Please let's not change it yet.......

Can't the comittee decide on a time limit for kits? 5 year cycle or something.
When was the kit last changed?
