Howdy y'all - onehundredandeiiiiiiiighty

Darts season is underway again. There's a new team on the block in the shape of Bec CC. So what? Well for starters they have chosen the same home venue as us so for all you Croydon based darts fans there are now even more games on your doorstep.

I got involved in the ACC darts a few years ago because the team was struggling for numbers. I'm pretty crap @ darts but - doesn't stop me and others from getting together over a beer and some friendly banter and seeing how many darting rabbits we ca npull from the hat. Many of the team are quite good.

Anyway - there's a game at the Lindfield social club tomorrow night, we have a full team for this one but feel free to go along and support. Then there's the start of the Belle Vue cup next week (think we need a few for that one) and another match on Dec 8th.

If you're free, come along and support or play - wouldn't it be cool if we could put out two teams!! (Steady on...)

It's on Tuesday night Alan, and I think we might be a player or two short as it's a cup match and we need a bigger team for those.

I'll email Joe, the captain, and see if we are still in need of player(s). Matches generally start at 8.45 - 9pm.

It's a bit hidden. The road is a dead end and you need to go right to the end of it. Just when the road stops you turn right in to what look like the entrance to the garage of the last house, but it goes around the back of the house to the Social Club's car park. The entrance to the club is the door on the right under the smoker's tent.
