An early Christmas present?

I reckon that I must now be a real cyclist - I've bought my first pair of Assos shorts . I've always fancied a pair, but have baulked at the price in the past, but what the heck...

They're a little excessive on the packaging and presentation: a box in a box with a glossy catalogue, a sample of chamois cream, some detergent and a wash bag. Oh, and a pair of shorts somewhere. Flip-in-eck!

They are awesome though, and worth it. Defo make you ride faster.

And the after-sales care is second to none apparently. I've heard of new shorts being sent to replace those destroyed by road rash.
