thanks for link, i'm not being too much of a sceptic, but george and I were talking about these yesterday, surely there has to be a catch, or something too good to be true with these lights, they look everything like the tesla, with all the features of a light costing that much. i would love it if i'm wrong, it just doesn't make sense for a £200+ light to go for £50 with free shipping any where in the world.
interested to know what they're like...

I haven't had any real problems with stuff I've had from then before. A dodgy fitting on one but easily fixed and only cost five quid anyway. A lot of electrics seem to be mass produced and stuck in lots of different things so this is probably something similar. The Smart lights were fine and cost a fraction of others.

Thought I'd bump this thread, just so Marco's original suggestion doesn't get forgotten...

I'm still up for a Friday night ride in the Surrey hills, but think it might be wise to postpone it until the worst of the cold snap is over, not because the MTBing wouldn't be good (I think it'd be fantastic, actually) but because the drive to Peaslake might be a bit hairy.

In the meantime I'm up for another Croydon local trails night ride, either midweek or on a Friday evening. By the way, if anyone's keen to try night MTBing but doesn't have lights, I have a spare 15W halogen light that can be either helmet or bar mounted which I'm happy to loan.

I have been MTB'ing to work for 2 weeks now, a few times in snow!

My DX lights have come but with no instructions... charge time !?

And why does that blasted green light stay on!?

Don't know and don't know . I'll take a back up to work with me in case in runs out on the way home because I haven't charged it enough.
