It has to be! The modern mtb xc systems are light, powerful and reliable, they work in all weathers and they don’t trash your rims. I for one can’t wait till they’re widely available for road bikes.

There are not enough hours in the day for me to explain why everything about this is wrong - starting with the idea and ending with the retail outlet*.

Oh, all right then, the colour's ok  .

*I'm assuming that nobody will actually buy this and that, if they do, they won't ride it. Otherwise, the wrong-ness will not end at Harrods.

'Available to the general public.' Not particuarly general.

And I doubt you'd get very good after-sales service from Horrids. You're not going to drop by to have a nipple tweaked, are you?

Nope - not interested.

Well, there have been a number of Horrids-related nipple-tweaking-type stories over the years...

Some time back I was tasting some wine at a vineyard in Australia. Coming across a rather toothsome Shiraz, I asked the winemaker where I might get some back in the UK. "Can't remember the name of the place" he said, "but it's that shop owned by Dodi Fayed's dad". Since then, I've always thought of Horrids as Dodi's Dad's Shop.

For 21,000 quid that should read "weight: optional"
