Pre Christmas rides

Postby Rob Q » Sun Dec 20, 2009 4:58 pm

As this weekend was a right off with the weather (well it was for me) and I am now off work until the new year, I was thinking of venturing out around midday (time for the ice to thaw) tomorrow and maybe Wednesday. No route planned so I am open to any ideas, but may need to stay off the quieter lanes if the ice is still about. Oh yeah meet at CSS :)

Some of us have to work

Slaughter and May don't close between Christmas and the New Year either - maybe next year I'll try and save my leave to take the time off...

Not sure about today as there's sleet forecast around midday, but I'd be up for something on Wednesday. Looks like it will be sunny and a balmy 3 degrees :)

Weather wasnt great and as Bridget mentioned the sleet started around 12 just as I was about to head out and so I thought better off it and went back indoors. So may see you out Wednesday.

I may have Wednesday off too. I'll PM you Rob if I'm around.

The weather isn't exactly inspiring at the moment. Let's hope Wednesday is better.

Look on the bright side; the evenings start getting lighter from now on.
