American Flyers

In m,y slightly inebriated state (Burp!) I've just turned on to BBC 1 and Kevin Kostner (Shaver Sport) has just won the first stage of a some big American race. Some of you older peeps may remember the actress, Ray Dawn Chong from the film - Comando, she just did an impressively quick wheel change for Costner. This is great; how comes I never knew about this film?

You're kidding right? - It's legendary and has been talked about dozens of times on this forum. Not quite as good as Breaking Away though :D

Yep. I've seen breaking away. An ex girlfriend of mine bought it for me a few years ago. American Flyer clearly got the big Hollywood treatment which works well. Some of those actors don't looks the best on a bike. That black guy, Robert Townsend looks awful on the bike... A nice cameo from a fresh face Eddie Merckx

I'm glad to see my view of this film hasn't changed over the years, its still one of the biggest piles of sh*te ever to be captured on celluloid in the history of film making, even worse than Waterworld, another Costner classic.
