Anybody selling a mountain bike?

Postby mlocke » Thu Jan 07, 2010 2:30 pm

Afternoon

I am looking to buy a mountain bike either through the ride to work scheme or second hand

Think i'd prefer second hand as I wont use it enough to justify a spanking new one.

Anybody got one they want to sell? Im a bit over 6 foot.

Cheers

Very possibly. Not sure what you're after, but IIRC it's a fairly basic GT Aggressor. It's definitely only been used once though - just for a few hours. And it's a large, ie, your size. It's too late to phone the owner now, but I'll phone them tomorrow if you're happy with an entry level mtb.

Sorry - gone. Apparently his mum gave it to his brother on account that he never used it :(

But there's good news :D

......... Bike Plus have extended their sale so you'll be able to pick up a mtb (including 2010 bikes) with 20% discount !

Of course with a new bike, even an entry level one, you'll be able to tailor it much more for your own needs (maybe ask them to swap bits such as seats etc) ........... so I would get down there as soon as poss ! 8)

You can get some very good deals in sale time Mark. I got my Giant in them and it' very nice with hydraulic disc brakes and front shocks for £500. It's not tip top but does me well. Lighter and nicer would be, well nice, but it's perfect for now for chucking around the woods.
