Saw this on Singletrack and thought it was rather good.

Looks good right enough, I especially like the slow-mo of the back flip (at 1:10) it looks like he'll never make it round. how did they film it, the camera point seems to be constantly moving or is it just zoom trickery.

Also, the mind boggles as to how many times the riders had to do that run just to get a continuous 4 min clip.

It's a clip from a DVD so guess it was multiple cameras, perhaps one on a following rider, a few dotted about on the way down, and probably one or two on the end of booms to cover the swing and zoom shots. Technically it would be possible to film in one run but I doubt the budget for these DVDs covers the amount of camera needed so they probably had to do multiple runs, but I doubt the riders were complaining too much. "Oh no you mean you want us to ride that fun section of trail again" .

I don't know - some of it looks kind of CGI or faked. For instance, there's a bit at 1:17 where a downhill MTBer can be seen pedalling.

Lots of cameras and some clever filming techniques, like a camera man on a zip line - You can see some of the filming in this trailer.
