Deal Extreme lights... A few questions?

Postby sonic909 » Thu Jan 07, 2010 12:53 pm

I received mine, its awesome but i havent charged it yet...

I didnt get any paperwork or instructions at all... i am confused as to where/how the battery pack is supposed to mount - its in a little pouch with a belt clip on?!

Also how long should you charge it for? - i'm quite strict with anything thats got batteries ensuring ultimate battery life through propper charging but theres no info :(

What did you guys get with yours?

I got the light, a batterypack, a charger, a battery belt pouch thing and 2 rubber bands, one for each size handlebar... am i missing anything?

Cheers guys!

Mine came with the same pouch as yours Sonic, which is useless for mounting on the frame. I have contacted them and asked for the velcro fastening one as in the advert. I am sending back the pouch today and they are sending out the correct one.

Charging takes about two hours and the charger cuts out when charged, the battery therefore won't get damaged. You will find users comments which answers this question and more here https://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.30864 under discussions.

I think the plug is US, you should get one from Boots, Amazon, Ebay or most electrical stores. Search Us to UK adaptor.

The battery pouch I have the strap is long enough to wrap around the top tube and velcro to itself securely, I added an extra strap through the loops for added security. Mine also came with a UK plug.
