For those of you not familiar with the North Downs there are six hills - one of which rates a single chevrons, and another garners two chevrons. See those folk walking.....

In short though to back up what Amy says it's a great ride, you don't really need to do anything other than be at Ryka's at about 9.30 on 6th March. The route does cover a lot of very narrow lanes and the surfaces can be a bit iffy in places so if you have a spare pair of winter/training wheels then put them on your bike, trust me some of the lanes aren't for taking your best wheels down.

Worth noting they keep the zig zag road closed to traffic until 12 ( I think ), incentive to finish fast.
