Bike training for kids

Thought I'd mention (OK, I was asked) that Redhill do a bike training thing for kids. It's on a Sunday so doesn't clash with the club run and it's run on a school playground (or field depending on weather). They teach stuff like group riding, looking behind, one handed riding and general handling skills. Website is here http://www.redhillraiders.org/content/about-us .

My son has been to quite a few and improved his skills and speed.

I was talking to John Leitch a while ago and he said he'd been doing this instead of the Surrey League winter training sessions he uded to run. Glad your son enjoys it and John's a very good teacher.

Thanks for the info Phil. We didn't make it on Sunday as my daughter had another commitment, Don't know if we will ever fit it in as she also seems to do doing something. Parties next week.

Andrew: Yes, John certainly knows what he's talking about. Now if I could get the boy to listen ...

Marcus: It's very much a turn up as an when thing. Tom has missed loads for one reason or another. I reckon you have it easy though - small boy parties are noisy affairs (Tom's was on Saturday). Next year the party is this: drop them all off by Pfizer and explain that the food is at the Gatton Park cafe.
