Hi,
I'm Andy, Addiscombe member and Cycling Weekly journalist. Haven't been out on the club run at all in recent years as I've been up in York for the past few years, but I'm back for good in Croydon now...
Re the title, Cycling Weekly does want you, albeit not in a scary Lord Kitchener way.
The mag is doing a training feature and I'm looking to find a well-rounded (lifewise) rider who:
-has specific goals e.g. racing/a particular sportive
-has a regular job and has to fit training and riding around it
-preferably sees cycling as a close third, priority-wise, to work and family.
It would involve having a quick chat with me, plotting out your 'week in training', gleening your own advice for getting in riding around a busy schedule and the like.
In the (big) likelihood that we don't have your photo, it would also involve coming into the CW offices in cycling kit for your own dashing close-up photo etc.
So register your interest; I'll check back tomorrow and make a decision.
Best,
Andy
