Dilemna

I've begun to lose count (Little Scotney Pale Ale, Westerham Brewery) so this is entirely hypothetical.

I need help.

The head says a SL3...

...but the heart says an S2

An opinions?

Fine ales from the Westerham brewery so a wise choice made there. They do a nice line in them at The Green Dragon.

What a great dilemma to have. But I think you should just go and get a mtb and fit one of these kits to it.

Is the Spesh the same geometry as your current one? If so then at least you will have the comfort that you will be able to get the exact same set up. I think the Cervelo S2 has a better aero advantage, although not sure how much difference it will make. From what I have read the Spesh will have more up to date technology in play as the cervelo frame is relatively old.

cheers

Well, if the Specialized is the right size for you then the Cervelo looks much too small.

Oh my god, what the hell is that. Who the heck set that bike up, they should be shot, it looks like something you would find in a bring and buy sale. How could someone take such a beautiful frame and then ruin it by chucking on whatever they had lying about in the garage. Pink bar tape, where did you find that picture Paul?

I can't believe what you are using as a saddle:

Is it appropriate to post pictures of your wife's strapons? I thought you were trying to keep that quiet.

Im planning to do some 50 mile TTs and beleive it or not, that saddle is very comfortable. The Pink is for obvious reasons - think of a transition with 500 bikes and which one is going to stick out like a sore thumb?

Good choice Paul 50s are the best, excellent distance. Is the saddle an adamo with the 'tool slot'? By the way I don't change my position or feel the need to raise the front end height for a 50, it's not that far less than a couple of hours for you.

It is the Adamo with "tool slot". The position is as I had it setup for the Ballbuster so I will be lowering it.

I thought I'd better wait till I got home to view Marek's secret but now I have, it's a little disappointing...

As for Keith's 'dilemna' (how many pints was that?) in my girly opinion the Specialized looks prettier but then the Cervelo is Italian (isn't it?)

As for Paul's bike, even without the ghastly pink bits, it's, well, ghastly...
