May 26, 2026 – Interclub Time Trail v. Norwood Paragon – Newdigate

First TT of the season against Norwood Paragon on the Newdigate circuit, where we narrowly managed to win. We surprisingly had a slightly greater turnout of club members with several of us competing in our first ever Time Trial – on road bikes!

The event proved to be quite good fun with a de-brief in the Six Bells pub in Newdigate.

To anyone who has never done a TT, why not give it a go and join in the next ‘race’? There is no pressure on anyone, just ‘give it a go’. I can say that as I came well last and will be doing it again… Once you register for the event (see details on Spond) all you need is a bike and front and rear lights – it’s the rules.
