When your arrive at Café Elvira in the Borde Hill Gardens, one of the first impressions is that it has an upmarket feel with people dressed up for a smart outing, making lycra clad visitors feeling slightly out of place. However, as cyclists, we have never felt unwelcome, even when rain drenched, so worth a visit, especially to pass the amazing The Ouse Valley Viaduct just down the road (on the way to Balcombe).
