Club Kit – Reminder of kit sessions Saturday 23rd February 2018
At the AGM there was a discussion on ways of improving the club kit purchasing systems and getting more members wearing our kit on the club run.
This post is to update you on the who, when, where and how of our club kit system and to let you know about two upcoming Club Kit trying/sizing sessions.
Who – Verge Sport
Addiscombe CC Club kit is currently supplied by Verge Sport. Verge offer quality cycle-wear for all riders in all seasons. You can view the range here and see Sizing charts
There is no minimum order and orders generally take 4-6 weeks to arrive once the online shop closes. There is a £5 delivery fee per order and the kit is delivered to Ross Cycles in Caterham for collection.
When and Where – Saturday 23rd February
The club has arranged two kit trying/sizing sessions on Saturday 23rd February
The sessions will enable to you to view and try the verge kit in a range of sizes and styles. Please come along to whichever is most convenient.
Saturday 23rd February | Morning Session : 10am-12pm
The morning session will be held at the Tanhouse Café as part of the Saturday club run. Verge will be sending us a range of kit samples in various sizes to try on while you enjoy your mid-ride coffee and cake.
Saturday 23rd February | Evening Session : 7:30pm onwards
The evening session will be held upstairs in the clubroom at the Spread Eagle Pub in Croydon, the full address is : 39-41 Katharine St, Croydon CR0 1NX . As with the morning session there will be a range of kit to view and try for size. Please come along and have a drink and chat club kit with fellow members.
Facebook events will be created for each session, please accept the Facebook invite or reply to this e-mail so we get an idea of numbers.
How – The Verge Online Shop
Once you’ve tried on the kit and selected what you’d like to buy you can order via the Verge Addiscombe Club Shop. The Club shop will be open for 2 weeks to capture orders. It will open this Friday 15th February and close Monday 4th March.
Club members, please refer to the email you should have received for instructions on how to access the shop.
Reminders and this update will also be posted on the club Facebook page, keep an eye on your e-mails and social channels for further information.
