Can't decide. Either 1 or 4. Argyle is definitley a love or hate thing. It looks slightly better if you minimise the sky blue colour

hmm, design a jersey for an international pro cycling team with a multi-million dollar budget to wear, carrying advertising for their sponsors, and win... a kit!

design contests (other than for non-profit enterprises) are generally questionable.

Adam what's going on? I was gonna vote for you as ACC's blingiest cyclist of the year 8) ...I'm having 2nd thoughts now. The sky blue make the argyle look even worse. I'm sticking with Graham number 4 :D

actually on reading the rules, "The Grand Prize, the only prize to be awarded, will be a new racing bicycle, assorted cycling clothing and a jersey autographed by professional cyclists. The total retail value of the Grand Prize is estimated to be approximately $2,300".

note there is no requirement to actually award a prize, all entries become the sole property of the organisers, and any design including the winner can be altered. which means that basically they can do what they want. you might feel cheesed off if you find the winning design happened to include elements of your non-winning design.

you may think i'm being cynical but you might be surprised how often this happens.

oh and they get to use the winners' name and face in publicity. pretty cheap if you ask me.

I like the Slipstream kit, always did. Better than most kits which are either too similar or covered in tons of adverts. At least they stand out from the crowd.

No, no, no, no, no! This is all wrong.

Argyle is fine for socks on a visit to the country estate or on a tin of shortbread. But not on a bike.

Toks and I were admiring the GB kit at Palace including the seemless blending in of the design from jersey to shorts. 8)

Agree, its all a bit 'rule britannia' for me though, you wouldn't see me dead in the GB kit, unless of course i was on the team...

...so i think im safe!

Yeah I'm loving that kit Andrew. Earlier on Eurosport I watched the re-run of Paul Manning winning the final TOB stage in Glasgow. He looked cool 8)
