Bank Holiday Monday Ride 5th May

On road, off road, round in a big circle or down to the coast, we do the lot. We don't just do it at all speeds and for all levels, we do it Agreeably as well!

Bank Holiday Monday Ride 5th May

A few of us are meeting at CSS at 9am for a ride down to the Newdigate circuit for some brisk laps before returning via Box Hill. 19's standard and above as it'll be quite quick. Around 2 hours in total.

Good steady ride thanks to Steve B, Paul H, Rogan and Tony C. Nice 47 miles in the legs with some good hard efforts at the end and a sub 6 minutes up Box Hill for me for the first time ever. Cheers chaps. :D

Wow! You're Flying Anthony -= glad we peeled off! Impressed that there were 3 groups out on Bank Holiday - ours was quite a spirited ride but I felt I had the wrong type of gears or wrong type of hills! - our main hill was Coldharbour and I PBd it and we missed out box on account of so much traffic going that way, but a creditable 48 miles in sunny weather.

Are sure about that 19mph average, Ant? I don't think you boys can ride that slowly ;) Less than 6 mins up Box Hill ? That's really good. In recent years I don't think I've been under 6.25. I'll have to travel down south soon on a Saturday and join you fellas. Its time to get fit again. Be nice to me I'm nearly 50 lol :-)
