Jon H and I on the F20 yesterday evening. I've been feeling my fitness returning and last week's race went well so I was up for this on my PB course.

A beautiful evening, nice and warm with only a light breeze to face on the return leg. I set off well and was flying on the way out with the slight tailwind. I hit the turn with an average speed of just over 28mph .

Around the turn and pushed hard up the drag and kept the power down once it levelled off. This drag had knocked the average speed back as expected and I concentrated on holding it but lost a bit more on the second drag which although shallow is a bit more exposed than the one after the turn. After that it was push on for the finish and sprinted for the line to finish with 22:42. Happy spin 3 miles back to HQ.

Here before Jon and I have been separated by a handful of seconds but Jon was below par with 23:22.

Race was won by Drag2Zero's Mark Jones in 19:00 who's a fast lad and obviously enjoyed his time in the D2Z wind tunnel.

I think I had about the same average speed to the turn as you did, but obviously lost a bit more on way back. That drag after the turn killed off all my speed
