Help needed - Open 10

In case you missed my last thrilling email.

We need help for the Open 10 mile TT on August 30th. It's a Saturday and it's on the North Holmwood course in the afternoon - so handy for being there on the way back from the club run.

HQ is St. John’s CofE Community School, Goodwyns Road, Dorking, Surrey RH4 2LR.

Help is needed for

2 x Pushers
5 x Marshalls
1 x turn checker
2 x finish line spotters
3 x refreshments
1 x signing on

Nothing too difficult and being a TT, you do not interact with traffic.

Just received your email Phil. Excuse language but it's a ****ing disgrace that you still need 3 people for this out of a club with so many purportedly "club members".

Feel free to scratch my entry and put me down to help if you still need people later in the week, just let me know and I'll do whatever you are still short of.

You can count with Tina and I if people are still needed and IF non-experience is required. We have never done anything like this.

Thanks very much Jorge. With you and Tina on board, we're now fully staffed.

You don't need experience, I will explain stuff before the start. Also if you look up in the right hand corner of this page, there's a link called "Marshalling Info" which explains what it's all about. For a TT like this one, it's really straightforward.

Happy to help with this if you need any more helpers. Will do pretty much anything. Will be riding down after morning ride so can marshal along course if required.

Great work today people (good lord - manager-speak). Nice to get another event out of the way without incidents, accidents, hint or allegations. Great performance from our riders too and a few novices were in there. Great cakes and tea despite the team working in less than ideal conditions.
