Thanks Phil and Co. Well organised and smoothly run. Just a shame I didn't go round very quickly, hey-ho.
Great work today people (good lord - manager-speak). Nice to get another event out of the way without incidents, accidents, hint or allegations. Great performance from our riders too and a few novices were in there. Great cakes and tea despite the team working in less than ideal conditions.

Some mediocre words and pictures here.

Just to clarify, the school had given us a full urn of water but no cups - hence running around looking into people's cups  I managed to blag about 20 from the volunteer lady who was doing some planting out the back. Last year they'd provided a trolley full of cups and the kitchen or food preparation room was open. I'd tried to take the lid off the urn so that I could see how much water was in it but in the end Phil and co managed to prise the lid off, mostly with my knife and a few spoons - the handle on the lid tending to spin on its own  Also we had no access to a suitable kitchen area for proper washing-up!

Thanks to those who made cake - Jon H, Sandy, Ash and Joyce - I need only have made half what I did
