There was a bit of fog by the start when I arrived but not being off for another hour thought it would lift by my start. When I rode to the start it had come in and was thicker. It was only by the start/1st lap turn area and just off course but there's one thing I don't like racing in and that's fog. I like things to see me on the road when I'm racing and the fog clings to my glasses, coming off the slip from HQ it was very thick, so DNS'd. Pity as it was a dead still morning and my legs felt good, but happy with my decision.

I think Rob, Jon and Paul all rode as the fog was only at the start area.

Paul did a good one, just outside the hour.
Rob and I both did 1:04 something. He came round the turn to start his lap 2 just as my minute man started; I could see him in the distance for most of my first lap but couldn't catch him.
