Prudential Ride London 2015

Anyone else got a place on this?
2nd Aug, closed roads, 25,000 riders. Sounds like fun.
Shall probably ride up to the start as train companies typically unhelpful when it comes to putting bikes on trains.

Ehm... I applied for me and Tina (my girlfriend).
I was rejected, she got a place. But family is expanding by +1, and she won't be ready on time.

Got rejected from the official ballot, but picked up a place in another ballot for those who marshalled last year; Proves its good to Vounteer!

I'm in again. No joy the first year but managed last year. Hope to finally cycle the complete route. Last year I cycled from home (Carshalton) to the start for an 08.00 ish kick off. I met the 'heavy rain' just West of the centre of London. Got back to Carshalton, dry, at about 16.00. From memory I think I covered just under 120 miles door to door. I took my time and enjoyed it for what it was. I'll have to quickly save up for the entry fee!

I'll be giving a whirl.

100 miles? How hard can it be?
