History of Hill Climbs Talk

I received this. There is a big history of hillclimbs around here - I believe that October sees the 120th running of the Catford event on Yorks Hill. As an aside, I would encourage people lighter than me to enter the Catford and or the Bec event (via the CTT website) as you'll never have so many people cheer you on.

It's linked to my book, 'A Corinthian Endeavour: the Story of the National Hill Climb Championship' and will feature lots of rare and unseen images and further details and audio from the people interviewed. These include Malcolm Elliott, Chris Boardman, Eric Wilson, Peter Graham, Lynn Hamel, Darryl Webster and others.

There will be quite a lot of detail relating to the London clubs and their importance in the context of the discipline. It would be great to see some of your members at the talk and I am sure they would enjoy it. The events manager at Rapha commented that it was the best talk that they had put on after the Manchester event in July.
