Well, yes I hope he gets caught too.

But this is one of the reasons I don't like the word "Cyclist". The media stories are always primarily about the perpetrator's mode of transport. When it's a cyclist. You never saw stories like "Van Driver Fred West ..." or "Pedestrian Peter Sutcliffe ...".

Maybe that's a bit extreme, but whenever one of these stories comes out about someone on a bicycle doing something bad then well all seem to be lumped in with it. This guy is a d*ck - and I'm not even going to make the "No true Scotsman" argument.

It's possible that I've been thinking about this sort of thing too much recently.
