Paul - hope your cuts and grazes heal soon. Your experience showed though as you neatly rolled yourself and your bike off the track as all us novices wobbled past.

Great Day Dennis and everyone from Addiscombe, Bec and De Laune who worked to put on the event.

I think everyone enjoyed the chance to race competitively on a level playing field and gave it their all.

Big well done to those off road guys whos names I still dont remember but showed us that the offroad racing fast starts and high cadences pay off big time on the track.

Tamar rode superbly and fought like hell in the scratch, I am tempted to get a pair of women's specific shorts myself.

Glad Paul is ok and yeah thats a debate that will run for years......lol

Hopefully the Delaune rider is good too, any word?

Well we would like to officially target the Addiscombe pursuit record at the next possible opportunity, so lets keep checking diaries.

Dennis - you worked the crowd brilliantly on the mic, I think you should give the welcoming speech to Duffield at the club dinner and start a bit of a mic competition.

I've heard that the De Laune rider, Ben, is OK. He was released from casualty around 7.30 Sunday evening. He'd stopped repeating himself and was in much better spirits. Nothing broken but apparently sporting a v impressive black eye along with various other scrapes and bruises. He's planning on cycling back to King's today to get his dressings changed.

Latest theory is that he was out of the saddle, lifted his front wheel and put it down crooked, catapulting him over the handlebars.

He has donated his battered helmet to Herne Hill to demonstrate to the kids the importance of wearing one.
