yeah, 50.42....was quite difficult with the hills and so many other people running (and walking!) but ran steady & comfortably.

I bumped into David at Clapham Junction post-run, and truly he looked as 'fresh as a daisy'. Looks like there a fair bit of dabbling going on at the moment. After hearing David talk the sub hour talk, I've decided to go for the Ball Buster duathlon at Box Hill this year. Do you have to run with your cleats in?

Yeah, quite early on, the one with the Camelback on. Thought it would be good prep to see how it was running with the pack on and it didn't hinder me too much. Will get my application off for the Ballbuster today. Anyone interested in training together?

Well done @ Richmond Park David.

I don't have a regular schedule so just fit in the run when I can.

I was hoping to run at the weekend but haven't decided when to fit it in. If you are doing the tt on Saturday we won't be a million miles away from the BB course. I don't mind running one lap of the course as a training run, ie slow-steady comfortable pace. I'm riding first thing in the morning though, so it would have to be some time after mid morning, but before 2.30pm.
Let me know if you're interested.

Aside from that, I was planning on doing the dulwich 10k (Dulwich Park) on 12th October, and the Cabbage Patch 10 (Twickenham) on 19th October.
Ideally, I should be doing a hilly half marathon race for the BB but I don't know where I can fit it in. I'll just rely on getting hills in during my long training runs.

How's your running going, AJ ?

At least your humour appears to be on fine form Marco...

The running hasn’t well actually well started yet as I am familiarising myself with the Joe Cider Running for Uphill Success Vol.2 (BB publishers 1976). Of particular interest is chapter 2, ‘How To Trip up Triatheletes Undetected in Your Quest for Uphill Greatness,’

I’m doing a cyclosportif event in Picardy with John Leitch this weekend (125 miles), and mountain biking in Taynish, Scotland week after (looking to a buy a mountain bike this week). So I’ve booked in the two 10k runs suggested by Maria. I also hope to do a run around Richmond Park on either Tuesday or Wednesday after work (5.20pm) in the build up to the event.
