I'm still in utter shock - so well done for starting it. Some fantastic performances - loved watching Romero take her pursuit gold, inspiring stuff 8)

I bought a tear to my eye. Makes you proud to be British.
Even my other half was shouting at the tv....... C'mon.
Well done to the whole team. Which one was from the ACC?

Romero and Wiggins must share the same legs - super smooth, pedaling action not just the surface athough I'm sure that too is waxed thoroughly and buffed to a high polish.

It had me gripped on Saturday afternoon - the Madison was mental and sooo exciting...and we won :D The whole team were amazing. Looking forward to seeing what they can do in China :)

Personally, I thought track would be boring, as I hate athletics as I think I am going nowhere, but it looks pretty interesting, might give it a try.

Go to Herne Hill one Saturday morning for their induction sessino Mo - Details here. Very well run by VCL and you can hire one of their track bikes. Fixed wheel, no brakes, great fun.

If you get the chance go to Manchester for a meeting. The atmosphere and noise as they thunder around the boards is amazing, and you get no idea how steep the banking is from the TV. It is much steeper than at Herne hill where it is quite shallow eing such a large track.

That Madison race was awesome. Bradley Wiggins buried himself to get away to take that lap. Everytime Cavendish took over he was keeping the gap but then Wiggins would come in and completely blast it. All that with them being the marked team was awesome.

If anyone has not seen it check out the BBCiplayer as it is on here. I watched the full programme which must have been about 2 hours long, brilliant stuff.

Cheers

Marek.....

Totally agree Marek, I was quite surprised by how he won the first sprint.
